Client Love: Alpine Events

When Alpine Events, formally Alpine Rent All, came walking in our door, we could have never imagined a simple meeting would turn into such a great and lasting partnership. We’ve been through a lot with this team, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Really, the way we look at it, it was a match made in heaven. We love throwing a good party, and they have the massive custom collection to make any event one you’ll never forget.

The Task

8THIRTYFOUR was originally tasked with putting together a cohesive and integrated messaging and marketing strategy. Alpine Rent All’s owner, Carey Bisonet, had acquired Alpine Rent All a few years ago. He quickly realized there was a lot of opportunity in the events market that they weren’t capitalizing on. Selling high-end bridal and event rentals next to chainsaws and lawnmowers just wasn’t working (shocking, we know).

The Goal

Alpine needed a way to segment the two markets. They needed help identifying how to target a new market of brides-to-be, planners, and corporate event organizers.

We immediately identified that not only did we need to develop a messaging strategy designed to target their primary audiences, but they also required a rebrand to cater to the new business direction. The rebrand was necessary to establish a new relationship with their target audience, which was a very different audience than their Alpine Rent All clientele.

Process

Our successful rebrand included the following:

  • Strategy development
  • Surveying of primary and targeted audiences
  • Competitor research
  • Brand attributes
  • Brand tone and voice
  • Elevator speech
  • Positioning statement
  • Audience personas
  • Sample messaging

The Results

After the rebrand, we developed marketing recommendations so the newly dubbed Alpine Events could continue to knock it out the park. We now work with them to provide some awesome support. Some of those areas include:

  • New logo design
  • Brand guide
  • Redesign and creation of all marketing collateral
  • Social media recommendations and strategy
  • Community engagement plan
  • Influencer marketing strategy
  • Ongoing media pitching, securing 11 pieces of earned media in 3 months
  • Stories that have reached over 4,478,000 people
  • Content and stories that reached over 225,000 followers through social media

Are you trying to capture a new market or target a new audience? Maybe you need a rebrand. Maybe you just need an effective messaging and marketing strategy. Let’s talk about what you have going on, and we can evaluate your needs. Reach out to us today!
