Social media accounts can be a beast to manage. The secret to staying on top of social media management is using tools that will help you manage your time effectively. If you’re looking for a few easy ways to make social media management easier on yourself, then look no further. Here are five of our favorite social media tools.

Hootsuite

At 834, HootSuite helps us hold onto our sanity (and we don’t have much to spare!) When you have multiple social accounts to manage, HootSuite will help you get the job done. Hootsuite is an online tool that helps you manage, track and post to multiple social media accounts. This tool allows you to schedule content, keep an eye on tweets that mention you, keep up with trending hashtags, and much more. Another perk of HootSuite is that, up to a certain point, it’s free!

Feedly

At 834, we’re all about content! Content is what drives all social media platforms because what else would you post about if not content? It’s generating or finding that content on a regular basis that can be challenging, especially when you’re doing it for multiple accounts. That’s why we use Feedly. Feedly allows you to follow, organize, and read all of your favorite content blogs, sources, and websites in one location. When we start working with a new client one of the first things I do is prepare a list of sources that I can use to pull content from on a regular basis.  I then add these sources to my Feedly account, so I can easily access them when I’m ready to schedule.

Hashtagify.me

I’d love to be able to come up with a bunch of hashtags on the fly, but that’s not always possible, that’s when I get on hashtagify.me. This tool allows you to find the best hashtags that will reach your target audience. Using hashtags in Instagram and Twitter posts help to reach a much larger audience, and this tool will provide you with all the hashtags you need! Just type in your subject and the site generates possible hashtags. We know there are a variety of hashtag generating sites out there so if you know of any others send them our way in the comments section!

Pexels

Pexels is a lifesaver! While having original photography for all of your social media posts would be ideal, it’s also unrealistic. When you’re running low on imagery, try this tool on for size. Pexels is a website with a huge variety of free stock photos. You can easily access this tool and find the perfect photo for your social post. The best part is that no one has to know…except for you, because you were smart enough to check out this post!

Canva

We’re lucky to have a kick-ass design team that can whip out social media graphics, but you might not be so lucky. That’s where Canva comes in! Canva is a free (yes, I said free) design tool that you can use to create a wide variety of graphics. This tool is very user-friendly, and the best part if that they have a variety of pre-existing layouts that you can use.
Using tools like the ones above can help ensure you’re sharing engaging content with your audience, while also saving you a lot of time.
What other social media tools do you swear by?
