Kim Bode's dog, Parker, wears oversized glasses inside fo the 8THIRTYFOUR office.

Calling all badass college students, we want you!
Yes, you.

8THIRTYFOUR is hiring not one, but two interns for the Winter 2018 semester! Our award-winning internship program is built on growing the next generation of professionals. This isn’t the stereotypical internship position; we won’t force you to make a Starbucks run (but we might politely ask you to) or pick up our dry cleaning. Instead, you’ll work alongside the 8THIRTYFOUR team as we develop marketing, design, public relations, and digital strategies and materials for small-to-large size companies in a variety of industries.
In case I haven’t convinced you to apply for our internship program, here are an additional 5 reasons why you should apply:

8THIRTYFOUR is a no-judgment zone

Our tight-knit team can be pretty weird, and we’re not afraid to show our true personalities. But hey, that’s what makes us so unique!

You’ll be accompanied by furry friends

Our office has always been dog-friendly, so get excited about the tail wags, slobbery kisses, and occasional begging that will take place throughout the workday.

We won’t judge you for a swear word or two (or three)

Because shit happens.

You’ll become a jack of all trades

As an integrated communications firm, we specialize in multiple realms such as digital, design, public relations, content development, strategy development, and more! As an intern at 8THIRTYFOUR, you will be introduced to all realms of our workplace, regardless of your communications/public relations title.

If you can survive 8THIRTYFOUR’s internship program, you will succeed in the real world

Not to scare you, but seriously. We will prepare you for the real world.

(Please don’t stop by, we like surprises and don’t want to see your lovely face until the interview)

Every WOSB deserves support, access, guidance, and a network, because when they have it, they’re unstoppable.

Just because you be small, does not mean you are not mighty. The Women’s Owners Network will accept its first cohort this November. Applications are due October 1.

Thank you to @lakemichigan_cu for partnering with us to provide this program. Their support means we can offer this at a significantly lower cost to business owners.
