Longstanding West Michigan Company Expands With New Name & Brand
Fettig, formerly known as AmeriTemp Staffing diversifies services
to meet customer demand

Grand Rapids, Mich. —West Michigan’s premier staffing company, Ameritemp Staffing has rejuvenated and re-launched its brand and corporate identity to be in line with the organization’s new growth and diversification strategy, offering expanded services in Office, Direct Hire, Light Industrial and Skilled Manufacturing staffing.  The company’s new name is Fettig with the tagline ‘When the right person matters.’

“Once we expanded our business, it was clear we had outgrown our name. We needed a name that represented our staff, culture and the fact that we are a family-owned business…something we value very much,” said Kim Fettig, company founder.  “With anticipated growth between 30 to 50% for the coming year, we knew this was the time to make the change and announce to the community in which we live, work and play.”

The growth, diversification and rebrand have allowed Fettig to add talent to their team to serve clients in other disciplines with quality candidates. The company has doubled employment and revenues in the past 5 years.

“Our focus is on people. We believe you have to have the right people on the bus and in the right seats. The right culture will keep them there and allow them to thrive. We have a fantastic culture,” said Mike Fettig, vice president of operations. “Our success isn’t found in matching a resume with a job description. It’s the ability to identify good chemistry between the individual and the rest of the organization. That is a skill that takes time and experience to develop and we excel at it.”

The company will celebrate their rebrand, diversification and expansion with a community open house on October 16th, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at their recently expanded office space at 6151 28th Street SE Ste 9, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

Nobody will remember your job title, and frankly, it's not what's interesting about you, anyway.

The reason you're in those rooms is to be memorable, so find what that is and embrace it.

Fixing the skills gap means changing how we do things... not more AI 'solutions.'

In her latest blog, Kim talks about the need for mentorship, a framework, better job descriptions, and (this one's really important) managers who aren't afraid to give honest, timely feedback.
