An iPhone screen reads, "Effective Digital Presence"

It’s no secret that we love digital marketing and the power it yields to businesses in generating leads and demonstrating ROI. However, if you’re not ready for a full-on digital strategy, start with these 4 non-negotiables.

Claimed Social Profiles

This doesn’t mean you need to post 5,000 times per week. However, by claiming and making sure your profiles are complete with your information and branding, you give your audience an easy way to discover and connect with you. Don’t worry, the list of necessary platforms isn’t overwhelming. This includes:

  • Facebook
  • Google Business
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter

Consistent Information

Don’t confuse your audience; you must think of the lowest common denominator. Make sure your online presence is not only claimed, but is consistent across the space, on all social media, 3rd party websites, and your own site.

  • Contact information (address, phone, website, etc.)
  • Company name
  • Logo

Mobile-Friendly Website

If your website isn’t fully responsive, stop whatever else you’re investing your marketing dollars in before you finish this sentence. This is the number 1 non-negotiable today. Without it, all other digital, and marketing, efforts will suffer. People are visiting your site on their phone more now than ever, and it will only become more common.

Google Analytics

Whether your website is mobile-friendly or not, make sure you have Analytics in place. This will make sure you’re armed with the data you need to be successful once you decide to make the investment.
As always, we’re here to help if you’re ready to take the next step!
