As you know the 4th Friday of the month is Your Biz Your Town on The WGVU Morning Show with Shelley Irwin. We invite the best companies we know to chat with us about topics ranging from events to growth to development.
For this month’s show we invited Creston Industrial Sales and Methods Machine to chat about the upcoming Advanced Manufacturing Expo (AME)on August 24th. This year the show is introducing a Metal Working Hall, sponsored by Creston, featuring companies offering the latest advancements in cutting tools, coatings, work and tool holding, as well as metal working fluids, additive manufacturing, and inventory management solutions.
Creston Industrial Sales supplies manufacturers, engineers and end-users with metal working products and innovative solutions while also functioning as an extension of their team. The company has been around for 50 years and is based in Grand Rapids and serves West Michigan.
Methods Machine Tools, Inc. has been North America’s foremost supplier of leading-edge precision machine tool and additive solutions – providing superior products, engineering and automation, parts and service, training and integration.
In addition to the more than 120 booths, there will be free seminars on new technologies in the metal working industry. It is important to note that the expo is FREE, but registration is recommended, especially if you want to get in on all the awesome giveaways.

Meet @bitnermd, co-founder of @true.womenshealth, a concierge practice in West Michigan, focused on helping women thrive through midlife while reducing chronic conditions such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, depression, and diabetes.

Dr. Bitner is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in midlife, menopause, and sexual health. She’s the author of I Want to Age Like That! and has published peer-reviewed research on menopause care. She was named Menopause Practitioner of the Year by The Menopause Society in 2015. Dr. Bitner is committed to translating evidence into practical, scalable solutions that improve women’s health, confidence, and participation at work and in life. We’re beyond excited to have her join our panel discussion this Thursday.
