Boys & Girls Club Grand Rapids: Be Great Tailgate
Scrub out those grass stains and dust off your foam finger for an evening of spirited tailgating and fundraising to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth in their efforts to ensure every young person receives the support they need to reach their full potential.

Wednesday, September 16, 2015 Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth (BGCGR) will celebrate another year of successfully enabling young people in our community to reach their full potential at the 3rd Annual Be Great Tailgate held in the Paul I. Phillips Club gymnasium. Since 1938 we have grown with the Grand Rapids community to address the needs of area youth, providing more than 3,000 children each year with the education, recreation and positive community experiences needed to become responsible citizens.
This one-of-a-kind tailgate will feature games, prizes, silent and live auctions, entertainment and the best in local tailgate food. Guests will enjoy hotdogs, burgers, ice cream, a well-stocked bar and opportunities to bid on exciting packages including adventures, trips, wine, sports memorabilia and much more! Most importantly, all money raised will benefit BGCGR’s amazing mission, programs and kids.
Dress code for this event is sports-themed business attire – the more creative, the better! WZZM 13 all-stars Val Lego and Dan Harland will be delivering your action-packed play-by-play for the evening.
Get your tickets here.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to have the Uncomfortable Conversation on the skills crisis, and whether you were there or not, let us know what the next one should be.

Defense and manufacturing run on precision, protocols, and deadlines. When a team miscommunicates... things slip, and the cost adds up.

Kim will be at the Michigan Defense Expo in Detroit on May 13 to talk about the Hard Cost of Soft Skills (or as we call them, survival skills) and what we can all do about it.

If not for you, do it for her.

@bodespeaks will be talking to @sheleadssocietymi on May 21 about Big Deal Energyâ„¢ and what it means to own what makes you - you.

Don't let mediocre men tell you you're too much. That's on them.

Come to the talk, it'll be fun. Link in bio.
