WGVU March 2013Today’s show was amazing, wasn’t it? If nothing else, we are a humble lot.
We enjoyed welcoming Paramount Realty Partners, Center for Women in Transition and GVSU’s Women’s Center to chat with Shelley and I about all of the great services, programs and resources that are available in our community.
Paramount Realty Partners is a residential real estate company that has taken a very different approach to marketing. They recently launched 2 blog sites – West Michigan Home Partners and West Michigan Senior Partners to educate on a range of subjects ranging from:

  • Mortgages
  • Loans
  • Michigan State Development Housing Authority grants
  • DIY tips
  • Energy efficiency
  • Senior living
  • Estate planning
  • Aging in place
  • Retirement planning
  • Selling your home
  • Senior health and more.

Check them out, you will not be disappointed. Kudos to them for thinking outside the box and finding innovative ways to reach their target audience and provide value to the community.
Center for Women in Transition has  been providing assistance for over 30 year to women and children as they deal with the significant challenges resulting from domestic violence, sexual assault, and other life-changing situations.
The Center’s mission is to respond to, reduce, and prevent domestic and sexual violence against women. This mission will be achieved through education, collaboration, and advocacy, with crisis and supportive services to victims and survivors.
It is clear with the tragedy in Ohio, that our nation has a long way to go in understanding violence against women. Do your part by speaking out, educating your children, friends, family and more.
GVSU’s Women’s Center  is dedicated to creating meaningful learning about women and gender and to advocate for gender justice through the education, engagement, and empowerment of women students and the greater GVSU community.
GVSU’s Women’s Center is focused on a world where gender justice is a reality and all forms of oppression are eradicated.  They partner with students, faculty, and staff to offer the most comprehensive and progressive programs, services, and initiatives.

Can you say…girl power?
