Better late…than never – Your Biz, Your Town

To be honest, I completely forgot to write a recap for the March 30th, Your Biz, Your Town…and for that I feel truly terrible. Shelley and I had some great guests and it is only fair to them and all of you that you receive a proper recap.

On the March 30th edition of Your Biz, Your Town on the WGVU Morning Show with Shelley Irwin, we welcomed the American Cancer Society to chat about Relay For Life as well as the first all women magazine – West Michigan Woman.

Relay for Life Downtown Grand Rapids is only 66 days away. The event is planned by an extremely hardworking committee and whether you plan to participate or you just want to donate, I encourage you to check out the schedule of events and show your support to our local American Cancer Society. Shelley and I also had the privilege of chatting with West Michigan Woman, the first online and print magazine for women, about women and by women. A great concept, and a welcome edition to Grand Rapids.

WestMichiganWoman.com is one of few online lifestyle sources focused on the West Michigan area and that is dedicated to professional and influential women. We put everything business owners, employees, and educators told us on the wall, and guess what... yeah, some of it was mean.

The point is, everyone is saying it about each other, not to each other, and nothing is getting fixed that way.
