Events are stressful, a lot of work and exhausting. However, when the desired results are achieved, all the hard work is well worth it. On September 30 and October 1, 2011, Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge hosted “Be and Explorer of Grand Rapids Art & History” benefiting Kids’ Food Basket. As the event planner, we were able to create the theme, design, create our mascot (Stanley Flatiron), coordinate layout, logistics, partner with Bluedoor and advertise and promote the event.
