Sunday, June 10: 2nd Annual Children’s Reading Hour w/ Roxxy, Books & Mortar
Local drag & theatre superstar Roxxy Mauron will be reading a selection of inclusive children’s books celebrating our LGBTQ community and the beauty of all people.
Sunday, June 10: Pride Celebration Concert, Justice Choir GR
Enjoy powerful music intertwined with spoken word, presentations by community organizations, local activists and artists, poetry, video, visual art, and more.
Monday, June 11: 30 Years of Pride, Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce
Spend your evening hearing the empowering achievements and experiences of different LGBTQ business professionals from the Grand Rapids Area. (Hint: this one features one of our own Kayden who will be on the panel sharing his awesomeness)
Tuesday, June 12: Pulse Nightclub Vigil, The Apartment Lounge
The Apartment Lounge invites the Grand Rapids community to honor those 49 people slain in the tragic shooting inside Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub. All donations will be donated to the Michigan Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence.
Wednesday, June 13: A Celebration of Pride with Circle Theatre, SpeakEZ Lounge
Hear female-driven Broadway tunes from the Broadway Babes summer concert and get a sneak-peek of the LGBTQ-themed musical Fun Home.
Thursday, June 14: Zorage, Zoko 822
Zoko 822 and the Garage Bar bring you “Zorage”, a FREE outdoor, collaborative pride party. Enjoy live music from Mr. Brink & DJ Gobs, along with food and drink specials.
Friday, June 15: 4th Annual Pride White Party, Rumor’s Night Club
Come dressed to impress in your finest white attired as we kick off Pride Weekend with the 4th annual White Party, featuring DJ Monica Parker and The Rumors House Divas.
Saturday, June 16: 4th Annual Hand-in-Hand Pre Pride Pep Rally. Ah-Nab-Awen-Park
Dave Watt of Mr. Friendly will lead us as we cheer & reflect on the importance of pride, community, and action.
Saturday, June 16: 30th Annual Grand Rapids Pride Festival, Calder Plaza
Join us for the 30th Grand Rapids Pride Festival at Calder Plaza. Featuring a street fair, food and drinks, children’s activities, lawn games, and performances by En Vogue, Betty Who, and David Hernandez! Plus, special performances by Circle Theatre’s production of Fun Home, and GR’s favorite Drag Divas.
Sunday, June 17: Pride Block Party, The Apartment Lounge
